GM Daewoo
GM purchased controlling interest in the Daewoo Group’s automotive assets in 2002 and created a new company called GM Daewoo, which builds small vehicles in Korea. GM Daewoo products are sold in more than 150 countries under some of the world’s most popular nameplates, including Chevrolet and Pontiac. GM Daewoo is also one of Korea’s largest exporters.
