The all-new manufacturing complex at Rüsselsheim, Germany, was built near the original Opel Rüsselsheim plant, which dated to 1904.  The new state-of-the-art complex was designed to build up to four different vehicle models on a three-shift, flexible line system with total capacity of 270,000 vehicles a year.</protect>
