I have been a Corvette guy since I was 6. I have loved the look of the design and the power and sound as they go by.
I bought my first Corvette when I was 17. It is a 1969 with a 327 from a 1965 Corvette. I still have the Corvette and always will.
My second was an '86 which was sold when my son was born.
In 1997, I bought the 1990 that will be in the Historic Motorama II. It was completely stock. I liked the color (1 of 587 for the 90 model year) and because of the (then new) cockpit and display, the marriage of digital and analog information. My Vette has leather interior, dual power seats and black glass roof. Everything (except for the radio and the mufflers) is stock, just the way it came from the factory.
It has over 189,000 miles on the clock and the paint is a little faded and chipped, but it still does a great job and can get on down the road when I need it to.
One year ago I bought a '97. It is very much stock (with the exception of some show car modifications I have done). It is the best Corvette I have ever owned.
As for me, I am a project manager for an HVAC and plumbing company. I have one son that just turned 13 years old and I am married to my wife (6 years and still going).

When GM celebrates the beginning of its next 100 years on September 16, 2008, 55 Corvettes will be on display outside its World Headquarters at Detroit’s Renaissance Center. The Corvettes are in fact the Historic Motorama II, a caravan from the National Corvette Museum (NCM) which is comprised of one example from each of the 55 years of Corvette production. The caravan will depart from the National Corvette Museum on September 10th with stops along the way. People attending the GMnext Day activities on September 16th will be able to view the Corvettes before and after the official program.
