Current environmental trends have steered automakers towards developing new and innovative fuel sources to power our everyday vehicles. With fuel cell technology discussions on the rise, GM enters into the race with over forty years of experience. Since 1966 with the Electrovan, General Motors has been working towards fuel cell technology for practical use.
In this 2008 video, retired GM engineer Vern Brown explains how the world’s first fuel cell powered vehicle was created by GM.
