U.S. Government Honors GM for its Contributions in World War II
The GM Milford Proving Ground was a big part of GM's support of the war effort. Testing everything from noise control in armored vehicles to truck durability and even ordinance capabilities, the Proving Ground received many awards for their stellar support of troops in all theatres of war.
