Ternstedt - Detroit
I was there
Ternstedt – Detroit was a great division to work at in the early 1960s. I hired in as a mail clerk, then a senior clerk and then a material handling foreman. I was able to attend U of D College through the tuition refund program. The employees were very dedicated to GM. Many women worked in the plant and were hired during World War II.
I still have a chrome plated ash tray from Ternstedt.
