Sason, Sixten
Sixten Sason, born Sixten Andersson (1912–1967)
Saab's early designer. Responsible for the shape of the remarkable "Ursaab" from 1946 and most of the Saab models up to the Saab 99.
Sason started at Saab Aeroplane factory back in 1939 as an engineer.
When Saab started their car production, Sixten Sason together with chief engineer Gunnar Ljungström, were two of the leading employees in the project. Later, Sason became chief designer at Saab and led the design work of the Saab 93, 95, 96 and Saab 99. Sason is also responsible for many other industrial designs, of which the Hasselblad camera can be mentioned.
Sadly Sason died shortly before the introduction of the Saab 99 and his successor Björn Envall continued his legacy.
