My introduction to Saab was when I was a kid riding in my Dad's brand new 1978 99EMS, so it was fun to hear how Saab's tradition of innovation continues. Saab brought the 9-4X Biopower concept and the Turbo X to the Detroit show.

Every year, the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) at Cobo Hall Conference/Exhibition Center in Detroit, welcomes more events, celebrity appearances and other attractions. The NAIAS is positioned well to draw top media, industry executives and production/concept vehicle debuts.
NAIAS 2008 welcomed more than 700,000 attendees, over 6,000 international media from 63 countries along with a host of celebrities, and drew more than 37,000 industry insiders from 2,000 companies. 44 worldwide production and concept vehicles were unveiled as well as 14 North American productions and concepts.
