Renovating a Classic!
I was there
About a year and a half ago, Mark Sayre finished restoring a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. The two-door hardtop went through three years of engine work, interior refinishing and endless projects to keep Sayre and his family busy: “We did all of the mechanics, all of the paint. I buffed all of the stainless on the car myself, never had buffed any stainless before. My brother’s worked on cars for twenty-five years, but this was sort of my indoctrination.”
