Rally
Rally races take place on closed sections of public or private roads rather than race tracks, with modified street-legal production cars competing. Rather than begin at the same time at the same starting point, the cars leave at regular intervals from pre-determined start points and are timed on how long it takes them to reach a series of control points. In Europe, Saab is a major player in rally racing.
