The Pontiac Parisienne dream car was built initially for the 1953 Motorama and then updated a year later for the 1954 Motorama. The car debuted each year at the Waldorf-Astoria show in New York City.

The Parisienne was a town car built on a Pontiac production convertible body. It was heavily restyled and outfitted with an open front landau roof and a panoramic wraparound windshield. A plexiglass dome could be fitted over the open driving compartment during inclement weather.

For its 1953 debut, the Parisienne town car’s exterior was painted jet-black. The interior had front bucket seat made of Pink Roulette leather, which also trimmed the roof lining, and a rear seating area decked out in satin frieze with aluminum yarn.

The 1954 edition of the Parisienne was repainted in pearl light-blue and was remodeled with the current year’s grille.
