GM Off Road Racing

- In the 2006 off road race in Africa, a Chevrolet Silverado pickup won its class for the first time in this event.
- In 2007, HUMMER demonstrated its off road capabilities winning two championships with a HUMMER H3 and a HUMMER H3 Alpha. Each vehicle also won its class in the Baja 1000.
