Framingham Diversity
I was there
The first woman to work in the GM Framingham Assembly plant in the late 1960s worked for me. Her job was to spray the rear axle with chassis black and attach brake line pig tails. My boss, at the time, told me to give her the worst job I had and get rid of her by lunch. That did not happen of course, as she did a good job.
He ended up giving her to another supervisor the next day.
