Fisher Body
Founded in 1908, Fisher Body became part of GM in 1919 and remained one of GM’s largest and most important divisions, responsible for manufacturing car and truck bodies for all the GM brands, until it was disbanded under the BOC-CPC reorganization of North American automotive operations in 1984.
