Ducks Converted into Wheat Trucks
I was there
In the late 40's my father, a World War II pilot and then operating a 25,000 acre wheat ranch in eastern Oregon, bought several "Ducks" and converted them into wheat trucks. Our land was very sandy and they were wonderful for this purpose. They were used until sometime in the 50's. Thought this might be of interest to you.
