DELCO
The Dayton Engineering Laboratories Company (DELCO) was founded in 1911 by Charles "Boss" Kettering and became part of United Motors in 1916 and then General Motors in 1918, where its operations remained under various internal reorganizations until all GM component manufacturing operations were divested in the 1990s.
