"If I could get the opportunity to work at the Corvette plant, and just try to do the best I can...maybe one day I could be influential." - Wilmer Cooksey, Jr.

For those that know Wilmer, influential may actually be an understatement. This soft-spoken man has spent the last 15 years living his dream as the plant manager for Corvette's Bowling Green facility.

Under his guidance, the Corvette has received numerous awards including "America’s Best Automobile of the Year" by Automobile Magazine, "Best Premium Sports Car" by J.D.
