Competing for Fuel Efficiency

GM joined with the U.S. Department of Energy as lead sponsors of Challenge X: Crossover to Sustainable Mobility, a four-year university student engineering competition in which student teams were challenged to re-engineer a Chevrolet Equinox to minimize the vehicle’s fuel consumption, emissions, and greenhouse gasses while maintaining or exceeding its utility and performance.
