I was there
I worked at "The Old Tank plant" in Grand Blanc, Michigan (Fisher Body) in the early 1950s and stayed there during the change over from tanks to car body parts. I just couldn't believe it could happen. It was really an experience.
I put in 30.5 years and am still proud to say I worked for GM Fisher Body and belonged to UAW Local 1292.
