Cadillac has a rich history. If you want to see some great examples of that, just take a tour of the General Motors Heritage Center. In this video, the Heritage Center's Greg Wallace takes us through the vehicles that have defined the Cadillac Brand in the past as follows:
- Johansson gage blocks (Jo Blocks) in display case. They were invented by Swedish inventer Carl Johansson for measuring small tolerances and used by Henry Leland
- 1908 Cadillac one cylinder car discussed
- 1901 Henry Ford's employment agreement with the Detroit Automobile Company (later reorganized as Cadillac)
- 1920 blue Cadillac Type 59 with a custom body
- 1915 green Cadillac Type 51 Touring (first V8 engine)
- 1989 Cadillac Solitaire Concept
- 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty-Special Touring Sedan
- 1948 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty-Special Sedan
- 1992 Cadillac Brougham d'Elegance Sedan
- ca. 2003 Cadillac CTS SCCA Pro Race Car
- ca. 2001 Cadillac LMP LeMans Race Car
