Being Part of GM's 100th
I feel that I was fortunate to be part of the GM Celebration. My wife and I drove our 66 Sting Ray from Southern New Jersey to Bowling Green, Kentucky and than on to Detroit to be part of the celebration. It was a once in a lifetime event for all of us involved. To meet the other Vette owners and share stories, dreams and friendship will never be forgotten. Although the 66 Sting Ray doesn't have all the creature comforts of the new cars, I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate GM's 100th. GM and the Corvette will always be the backbone of automotive history.
For the past 100 years GM has been a leader in the automobile industry and will continue to make great cars and future memories for another 100 years. Today, December 13, 2008, marks 25 years that I've been enjoying my Sting Ray and can only foresee 25 more enjoyable years.
Thanks GM and Chevrolet for not only making great cars but giving us the chance to make great memories.
