GM unveiled the all-new 2008 model year Cadillac CTS, again re-drawing the boundaries of traditional luxury sedan design, at the North American International Auto Show.

Equipped with a 40 giga-byte Alpine navigation system and a telescoping 8 inch display, the system brings the integration of XM Nav Traffic and Weather, improved voice recognition, iPod command and control, recording of CD audio discs, MP3, M4A and WMA files, and pause/play time-shifting to its tuners.
Securing the prestigous Motor Trend Car of the Year the navigation system was lauded with comments such as: "The nav/radio is exceptional. Others have tried to do this well but haven't come close." "...that brilliantly simple yet powerful nav/info system - better than anyone."
