Owners if a 2005 Precision Red C6 are Andy and Connie Zadylak, residents of Daytona Beach, Florida. We are both 61 years old and have been married for 38 years. Andy enjoys golfing, car cruises and Corvette Shows. Connie spends her free time doing porcelain painting, various crafts and traveling. We moved to Daytona, from the Pittsburgh area, after retiring in 2001. Andy worked as an Assistant Police Chief and Connie was an Elementary Art Teacher. Although we no longer live in that area we maintain our membership in the Beaver County Corvette Club, a great group of Corvette owners. It was a thrill to be chosen for the Historic Motorama II; we are looking forward to this wonderful trip.
We became Corvette enthusiasts the moment we saw the newly designed C5. Our first Vette was a 1999 Torch Red C5 Coupe. When we learned the new C6 was coming out we were among the first to place and order at our local dealership in June 2004. Choosing to have Museum Delivery was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We picked up our Precision Red C6 Coupe on September 15, 2004. Our car has red interior, and Z51 suspension package. The delivery was a unique and memorable experience. We enjoyed it so much we became Lifetime Members of the National Corvette Museum the same day.
When GM celebrates the beginning of its next 100 years on September 16, 2008, 55 Corvettes will be on display outside its World Headquarters at Detroit’s Renaissance Center. The Corvettes are in fact the Historic Motorama II, a caravan from the National Corvette Museum (NCM) which is comprised of one example from each of the 55 years of Corvette production. The caravan will depart from the National Corvette Museum on September 10th with stops along the way. People attending the GMnext Day activities on September 16th will be able to view the Corvettes before and after the official program.
