1991 Pontiac Protosport 4 Concept

The 1991 Pontiac Protosport 4 concept car was introduced at the 1991 Chicago Auto Show. The Protosport is a four seat, four-door concept offering comfort for four people, while still providing both performance and handling that is normally only achieved in sports cars. The body is made of carbon fiber and features four clamshell type doors. It has a front mounted engine with rear wheel drive and a four speed automatic transmission. It also has four wheel steering with 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels.
The engine is a dual overhead cam, 4-liter V8 producing 250 horsepower.
