1990 Chevrolet Corvette

In 1984, I was in my senior year of college. I recall picking up the school class listing publication with the class offerings and schedules for what was to be my last semester. As I flipped through the pages, I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw an ad for the new C4 Corvette sponsored by Chevrolet. I couldn’t turn away. It was a dimly lit close up photo of the front end of the car with only the park lamps illuminated. Beneath the photo the ad text read: "The Rewards of a Higher Education". I dreamed of owning one someday.
Fast forward 21 years from the fall of 1984 to my daughters’ college graduation. It was her degree, but my opportunity...finally, to get one of those C4’s. I knew it had to be a convertible. The 1990 C4 convertible that sits in my garage now is white on white with blue leather...just like the one in that ad.
To this day that ad is still etched in my mind. The C4 Corvette is my favorite generation of Vette.
My Vette is all original and in pristine condition with a mere 22K miles.
