....I live in northern New York; about 30 miles from Canada. I have had a passion for cars for as long as I can remember. My entire family has what my daughter likes to call “a love affair with cars”. Which only makes for a great car show during family reunions.
I’ve had my fair share of cars in the past, but presently I have come about to own one amazing car, a 1969 Chevy Camaro Pace Car. It had always been a wish of mine to own this type of car and in 2008, I was very lucky to find one that was affordable and in mint condition. The colors of my car, Orange and White, make a bold statement; some say this makes my car unique, which I agree with fully. The small details in the orange interior draw you in to take a closer look.
This will be my third year traveling to the legendary Woodward Aveue for the Dream Cruise in August. When I’m there, I feel like a kid in the candy store. The Dream Cruise has had a profound effect on me, so I have influenced my other car crazy friends to join me in the excitement of millions of people’s passion for cars....
GM’s Century Cruise pays tribute to GM’s past and the passion owners have for their vehicles. On Saturday, August 16, 2008 this vehicle and more than 100 other classic GM vehicles will cruise from the GM Global Headquarters at the Renaissance Center up Woodward Avenue to the heart of the Woodward Dream Cruise in Royal Oak and the surrounding suburbs. One of these vehicles will be crowned “top cruiser” based on a text voting campaign.
