1927 Cadillac 7 Passenger Sedan

I reside part time in the Metro Detroit area and I keep my 1927 Cadillac 7 Passenger Sedan here. I am a new member of the local Cadillac/LaSalle Club and I'm fulfilling a dream (by owning almost a museum piece!). I am a small collector of various 1920s-1950s cars, but I have always wanted a early model Caddy (BOUGHT IN THE MOTOR CITY). As fate would have it I lucked into a wonderful, but sad, situation...and I 'adopted my new baby' from a gentleman that owned the car locally for almost 50 years. His records show wins (including the Golden Lion award at Concours d'Elegance twice) and overall care of the vehicle were nothing less than spectacular. Since owning the car I have keep her meticulously clean and as authentic as possible/reasonable.
GM’s Century Cruise pays tribute to GM’s past and the passion owners have for their vehicles. On Saturday, August 16, 2008 this vehicle and more than 100 other classic GM vehicles will cruise from the GM Global Headquarters at the Renaissance Center up Woodward Avenue to the heart of the Woodward Dream Cruise in Royal Oak and the surrounding suburbs. One of these vehicles will be crowned “top cruiser” based on a text voting campaign.
